Every member of our CDL driver training staff is thoroughly trained. Our truck schools and training yards offer ample space to practice the skills needed to become comfortable behind the wheel. In addition to helping you get the training you need, we offer 160 hours of Class A CDL truck driver training at our Portland area truck driving schools.
How We Started
Our CDL training school began in 2003 when our founder and owner, Greg Reisnaur, saw the need for professionally trained truck drivers. To meet this demand, he built a business to offer truck-driving courses that delivered a high standard of training while remaining affordable and convenient for students. Today, we offer 160 hours of Class A CDL training, and our school is WIOA- and VA-approved.

- 1993 America’s Road Team Captain
The America’s Road Team is a program developed and supported by the American Trucking Associations. The program annually selects about 10 professional truck drivers from thousands of applicants nationwide to promote the trucking industry. When choosing Road Team Captains, they look for candidates who project a professional image, have full knowledge and understanding of the industry, have a passion for safety, have a superior safety record, and can speak to and educate all sectors of the public. Road Team functions include participating in newspaper, radio, and television interviews, as well as speaking at community and company events and meetings.
The Oregon Road Team program is identical to America’s Road Team, except it operates at the state level rather than the national level.

INSTRUCTORS
Dean Spreadborough – Dean is a 2016 graduate of Elite Truck School and has experience in driving local pick-up and delivery. Dean began teaching with Elite Truck School (Hillsboro) in 2018.
Max Olvera – Max is a 2017 graduate of Elite Truck School. Max’s experience is driving for local landscaping companies and nurseries. Max began teaching with Elite Truck School (Hillsboro) in 2020 and is a bilingual Spanish speaker.
Jason Knighton – Jason is a 2019 graduate of Elite Truck School. Jason has over 15 years of experience as a Class “B” commercial driver. Jason began teaching with Elite Truck School (Hillsboro) in 2020.
Sergio Gonzalez – Sergio has over 6 years of Class “A” driving experience. Sergio began teaching with Elite Truck School (Hillsboro) in 2021 and is a bilingual Spanish speaker.
Chris Shelman – Chris is a 2021 graduate of Elite Truck School and has over 2 years of Class “A” driving experience. Chris began teaching with Elite Truck School (Hillsboro) in 2023.
Conrad Godfrey – Conrad has over 6 years of both Class “A” and Class “B” driving experience. Conrad began teaching with Elite Truck School (Hillsboro) in 2023.
Kelly Baker – Kelly is a 2020 graduate of Elite Truck School and has over 3 years of Class “A” driving experience. Kelly began teaching with Elite Truck School (Hillsboro) in 2023.
Ken Bewley– Ken is a 2010 Elite Truck School Graduate and has 12 years of Class “A” driving experience, as well as 1 year of Class “B” driving experience. Ken began teaching with Elite Truck School (Hillsboro) in 2023.
Harold Worth – Harold has over 18 years of Class “A” driving experience and 5 years of teaching Class “A” and Class “B”. Harold began teaching with Elite Truck School (Portland) in 2023.
Colbe Sanders – Colbe has over 12 years of Class “A” driving experience and has driven the ice and logging roads in Alaska. Colbe began teaching with Elite Truck School (Portland) in 2023.
