- Oregon Class A CDL: Lets you drive big trucks with trailers that weigh more than 26,000 pounds total. The trailer must weigh more than 10,000 pounds. This includes semi-trucks with trailers.
- Oregon Class B CDL: Lets you drive a single truck over 26,000 pounds, but any trailer must weigh less than 10,000 pounds. This includes straight trucks, box trucks, dump trucks, and utility trucks in Oregon.
- Oregon Class C CDL: Lets you drive vehicles that carry more than 16 people or dangerous materials.
